Description
This year, Dr. Gledhill and Mrs. Gizzi are looking to start re-invigorating the rental instruments available at Holy Family, allowing anyone to have access to instruments and the chance to make music. We are also hoping to continue with several other music room upgrades, including additional sound paneling, a dedicated sound system for the music room, and expanding our inventory of amps for the jazz band program. Combined with continuing to provide the funds for the two music positions, we are hoping to raise $15,000 dollars this year for the music program. Thank you for all your support! Dr. G

Personal Message
Music education at Holy Family supports cognitive development as students learn to read music and play an instrument. Music provides a healthy outlet for emotional expression - it can be a source of comfort and joy! Participating in music ensembles, such as choirs, bands, or orchestras, teaches students valuable social skills, including cooperation, listening, and collaboration. Working together toward a common goal fosters a sense of community.
Why are donations necessary?
With your support, we are able to provide a full-time music instructor, purchase instruments and music, travel to music competitions and much more!
